About one hour ago (at this writing), we had a video chat with Pastor Valentina in Xmelnitski, UA. She is the founding pastor where Deb and I helped her plant the Dawn of Life Church in 1991. They received our second LLIM gift of humanitarian relief within a couple hours of it being wired. She was overflowing with thankfulness while wearing the glorious countenance of our Lord Jesus. Like always, Valentina was walking in more faith than Deborah or me. When asked how the family was doing, her response was, “The angels of God are holding us in their arms. We are safe!” The call was not long because I was unable to think and talk due to tears. The more I saw her shining face, the more I cried. Warm words of love were exchanged along with many digital hugs and waves goodbye. We informed her that much prayer is going up here. Her entire family remains behind in Ukraine to serve all the displaced and homeless.

Pastor Serge and Lena live in Star Constantinov. They became the pastors of the church about one year after we first planted it about 1992-3. I am not sure of my facts about their church building. It is a public facility which they rent. I do not know if it stands now or not. The town has been nearly leveled. The congregation is mostly gone. It is a military community. The very first pastor of the new church years ago was a military man. We have known this precious couple for about 28-29 years. Serge was saved under our preaching the same night as Eugene was saved. They both came to the same altar call. Serge reported to Eugene that a bomb exploded near their home and the shock wave damaged the roof tiles. The winter, wet air made the whole building miserable for all residents. I believe it was the next morning, a portion of your gifts from LLIM was given to them as designated. They were able to make temporary repairs. Serge and Lena were stunned that our abundant gift was there so quickly. They asked, “where did all this great help come from?” They were informed that they have friends and believers in the USA who are sending love, prayer and help through Lamp Lighters Int’l Ministries and Bethel Life Worship Center.

Both families send their heart felt love and thanks to all who are praying and giving. We report that destruction is too near for comfort, yet both families are safe. No injuries were mentioned. We have posted a couple short video clips on YouTube. Just follow the link below.

BREAKING NEWS JUST IN: “ABOUT 4.5 HOURS AFTER I DRAFTED THE ABOVE REPORT, XMELNITSKI WAS BOMBED BY TWO CRUSE MISSILES. THE TARGET WAS AN OIL FACILITY 2 MILES FROM WHERE THE PEOPLE ABOVE LIVE. THERE IS A VIDEO THAT CAUGHT THE EXPLOSION ON THE HORIZON. EVERYONE MENTIONED ABOVE IS OKAY FOR NOW. TENSIONS REMAIN HIGH! WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED.”

GOOD NEWS IN FOR THE DURATION: “I WILL SAY OF THE LORD, “HE IS MY REUGE AND MY FORTRESS; MY GOD, IN HIM WILL I TRUST. . . “YOU SHALL NOT BE AFRAID OF THE TERROR BY NIGHT, NOR OF THE ARROW THAT FLIES BY DAY. . . NOR FOR THE DESTRUCTION THAT LAYS WASTE AT NOON DAY” (Psalms 91: 2, 5, 6b).
